SAM KIM, President, Real Estate Attorney and Broker (samkim@sklaw.org)

          Sam Kim and Associates, APC is led by Sam Kim.  Mr. Kim is admitted to the California Supreme Court, United States District Courts (Central and Eastern District) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  He is also licensed as a Real Estate broker and a General Engineering and Building contractor.  In addition to legal experience, Mr. Kim has vast practical experience in the construction industry (25 years), Real Estate brokerage & Management (20 years), and Mortgage and Banking Industry (20).  

        Mr. Kim has listed/sold over $200 million in Real Estate transactions and has received top sales awards and highest recognition under the Century 21 system, including the most prestigious Grand Centurion Award and as well as the Masters Hall of Fame recognition.  In 2007, Mr. Kim was recognized as the #1 commercial agent in the Nation for the Century 21 System (Century 21 system is the #1 commercial brokerage firm in the United States).  Mr. Kim serves as general counsel to and advises real estate brokerage, escrow and mortgage firms, as well as Real Estate developers, on development projects of all calibers. 

          Sam Kim is recognized as the person who is an expert in finding the best possible solution to complex real estate matters, and directly oversees all legal cases that are handled by this Firm.  For initial consultation, Mr. Kim usually personally meets with all clients on their first interview.   
         

          Mr. Kim currently serves as the Executive Directorfor the Korean Church Coalition for North Korea Freedom (letmypeoplego2008.com and kccnk.org), and volunteers as an affiliate attorney for the Alliance Defense Fund and the Pacific Justice Institute, inwhich Firm served as attorney of record for Prop. 22 Legal Education and Defense Fund in the case of Arthur Smelt v. Orange County, and the infamous case of "Ask God for your grade" in the case of Johnathan Lopez v. Los Angeles City College.  He is a graduate of the National Litigation Academy and a Honor Corps member of the Alliance Defense Fund (alliancedefensefund.org).    

MICHAEL PARKER, Senior Real Estate Attorney and Broker (MichaelParker@sklaw.org)

           Michael Parker is a graduate of UCLA and McGeorge School of Law.  Mr. Parker attended South Torrance High School, where he served as the ASB President.  Mr. Parker was admitted to the California Bar in 1988, United States District Court, and teh United States Cour of Appeals for teh Ninth Circuit.   Mr. Parker joined Sam Kim and Associates in 2004, and brought with him years of litigation and trial experience.  He is currently an adjunct professor of law at Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, California. 
          Mr. Parker has extensive experience in litigation and trial, and has formerly worked for numerous large and prestigious law firms where he litigated numerous cases, including several high publicized cases. He currently serves as the senior litigation and trial attorney for Sam Kim and Associates.  Mr. Parker has in depth knowledge of both Federal and State court system, and is additionally licensed as a Real Estate Broker. 

SU M. KIM, Real Estate Attorney and Broker                 (SuKim@sklaw.org)

          Su M. Kim is a graduate of University of California, Irvine, and Western State College of Law.   Ms. Kim was admitted to the California State Bar as an attorney in 1999, and joined Sam Kim and Associates in 2001.  She has variety of personal experience in the Real Estate field in the area of residential and commercial Real Estate brokerage, property management, escrow, and mortgage banking industries.  
          Ms. Kim has seven years prior experience as an escrow officer for numerous escrow companies, including VIP Escrow, Maximum Escrow, and Century 21 My Real Estate.  Additionally, Su Kim has over fifteen years of prior experience in the area of property and Real Estate brokerage/management. 

LISA YUN, Real Estate Attorney                                       (LisaYun@sklaw.org)         

       Lisa Yun originally joined Sam Kim and Associates, APC in 2005, and left in fall of 2006 to attend law school.  Upon receiving her Jurist Doctorate degree in from Chapman University, College of Law, Ms. Yun returned to Sam Kim and Associates, in July or 2009, and was admitted to the California State Bar in December, 2009.  Ms. Yun received her undergraduate degree from UCLA. 

DONALD YANG, J.D. Candidate, 2010, Legal Intern (DonaldYang@sklaw.org)           

Donald Yang is a legal intern for Sam Kim and Associates, APC.  Donald joined Sam Kim and Associates in 2006, and is currently in his last year of studies at Trinity Law School, where he is a Jurist Doctorate candidate, 2010. 

ESTHER LEE, Legal Secretary                                     (EstherLee@sklaw.org)

          Esther Lee joined Sam Kim and Associates, APC, in 2006, and plays the vital role as legal secretary, office management and client coordination.  Esther is currently pursuing her studies as a paralegal.  Esther has a super smile, and is the first person our clients will meet when visiting our office.
